On September 25, 2026, that philosophy comes to life through Exploring the Arts & Science (EAS)—an intergenerational experience designed to bring creativity, technology, innovation and human connection into the same room.

Hosted at Metropolitan Library in Atlanta and presented as a free in-person and virtual experience, EAS creates opportunities for older adults and young people to encounter possibility from different sides of life.

The Invitation

More Than a Program. An Invitation.

EAS was created around a simple but increasingly important idea: people experience possibility differently when they are invited to participate rather than merely observe.

This is not an experience built around watching the future happen somewhere else.

Participants are invited into exploration itself—to create, engage, test ideas, ask questions and discover how the arts, science and technology increasingly intersect in everyday life.

Arts. Create. Beta Test.

Three pathways. One larger invitation to participate in creativity, technology and active discovery.

ARTS

An opportunity for young participants to explore ideas, creativity and the growing intersection between artistic expression, science and technology.

CREATE

An introduction to smart technology and innovation, including emerging concepts that demonstrate how technology can intersect with products and everyday experiences.

BETA TEST

A space for active participation, technology engagement and feedback—reinforcing the idea that innovation should include people across generations and experience levels.

Intergenerational By Design

Two Generations.
One Future.

We often speak about generations as though they occupy separate worlds.

Young people are described as the future. Older adults are described as the keepers of the past.

EAS challenges that separation.

Innovation needs memory.

Wisdom needs new questions.

Technology needs human perspective.

Creativity belongs to all of us.

For older adults, EAS creates an opportunity to receive technology assistance, learn in a comfortable environment and participate in developing and beta testing new technologies.

For younger participants, the experience offers another doorway: a chance to explore new ideas, engage interactively and discover how arts, science and technology increasingly intersect.

Neither generation is positioned simply as observer.

Both are invited into the conversation about what comes next.

The Experience

The Experience Is Part of the Story.

That philosophy extends beyond the individual areas of exploration.

EAS participants will receive an Exploration Passport, guiding them through the program as they explore activities and collect custom EAS stamps.

It creates something tangible from something experiential: a record of curiosity, participation and discovery.

A Tangible Journey

A Passport Says:
You Went Somewhere.

A stamp says: you experienced something.

And a completed journey says: you participated in your own discovery.

The Exploration Passport transforms movement through the program into memory—giving participants a physical reminder of the ideas, activities and possibilities they encountered along the way.

EAS arrives at a moment when conversations about emerging technology can easily become conversations about who understands it, who has access to it and who may be left behind.
